Spring/summer ’18 collection at a glance
The show was called “The Tree of Life”: for the fashion label’s semi-centennial – it was founded in 1968 by Gerolamo Etro – his children Veronica and Kean came together to design their first joint collection. Which meant that men and women walked down the catwalk together. Inspired by their father’s journeys around India, they followed in the footsteps of the paisley pattern that’s so typical for Etro and added a touch of folklore to that hippy flair.
The result is an opulent collection in glorious colours from coral to emerald green that stand out even further thanks to their striking patterns and elaborate embroideries. With Etro’s light jodhpurs and saris, this summer you’ll be embarking on a fashionable journey east to the roots of the brand.
