Pictures of a man that exude both sensitivity and strength. That’s the idea behind the spring/summer campaign of the Italian luxury men’s outfitter Brioni. The man who slipped into the role of the modern gentleman is the Austrian model Werner Schreyer.
The 48-year-old – who has already worked for Brioni on several occasions – posed for studio shots by photographer Gregory Harris. Dressed in iconic pieces from the collection that add a modern touch to the long-standing brand’s know-how.
Three decades of fashion and art
Schreyer has been working as a model and actor since the 1990s. He has lived in Milan, Barcelona, Paris, New York and Los Angeles. And he’s one of Austria’s most successful models. In his portfolio you’ll find campaigns for Louis Vuitton, Calvin Clein, Dolce & Gabbana, Givenchy and many more. He has been captured on camera by Herb Ritts, Bruce Weber, Mario Testino and Richard Avedon. After being trained in art and media in Zurich, he now takes photographs himself. And he paints. His exhibition “L’autre moi” was on display in Vienna.
