Grapefruit and ginger, tuberose and ylang-ylang, vanilla and cedarwood: the scent of summer.
Brand new from Louis Vuitton: for the first time the brand has launched a perfume collection for men. Master perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud has created five masculine fragrances: “Nouveau Monde”, “Orage”, “Sur La Route”, “Au Hasard” and “L’Immensité”. At the back of his mind he was thinking of men as explorers, pioneers and free spirits.
Luxury and exoticism
With Yves Saint Laurent’s Mon Paris Couture scent, the intention is to focus on women’s fashion mindset. Featuring sensory top notes of bergamot, grapefruit and raspberry, lychee and mandarin notes guaranteeing freshness, and a heart note of peony and orange blossom. Luxurious cashmeran, patchouli and ambergris can be found in the base note.
Le Vestiaire des parfums Oriental Collection takes an exotic turn and expresses Saint Laurent’s passion for the exoticism of what used to be known as the Orient. The YSL fragrance collection is urban and modern: Magnificent Gold (vanilla pods and white oud), Sleek Suede (cacao bean and black oud), Supreme Bouqet (tuberose and ylang-ylang),Exquisite Embroidery (notes of rose and ambergris) and Splendid Wood (cardamom and cedarwood).
Armani is ardent about good perfume. Which is why Si Passione by Giorgio Armani comes in a red flacon. It contains a floral fragrance made of blackcurrant and pear to mirror the simultaneous delicacy and strength of women.
