Well-dressed men as far as the eye can see. During the men’s fashion fair Pitti Uomo, the streets of Florence are transformed into catwalks. Streetstyle looks show what confidently stylish trendsetters are wearing now. While new summer styles for 2019 come from Milan and Paris.
Suit complete with pocket square. You can’t go wrong in Florence if you’re dressed like that. And don’t worry about a regular or a bow tie: after all, you want to follow the fashion rules – but casually. Grey, beige, navy and olive are the dominant colours this season, while confident fashionistas don prints. And if you’re at a loss as to where to put your sunglasses when you’re in the shade, simply tuck them into your waistband, where they can make a fashion statement even off your face.
Debut and rock chic
Virgil Abloh celebrated his long-awaited debut at Louis Vuitton in Paris. He combined colourful streetstyle with athleisure and topped it off with matching bags. We reckon transparent is his favourite “colour”.
At Prada men are showing a whole lot of leg. Short shorts dominated the catwalk in Milan, with the fabric they saved in the leg area being splurged on opulent headgear. Saint Laurent, on the other hand, has gone for rock chic and layered looks with a white T, denim shirt and sequined jacket.
