Who knew that getting involved in humanitarian causes could be so beautiful? Louis Vuitton has launched a new Silver Lockit bracelet collection to raise donations for some six million children in need in Syria. Louis Vuitton has been actively engaged in Unicef since 2016: the luxury fashion label and the UN’s children’s charity are committed to providing clean water and sanitation as well as basic supplies in the fields of health, food and warm clothing during the winter months.
The Silver Lockit bracelets are available in yellow, blue, pink, purple and black. On the one hand, the padlock is inspired by Louis Vuitton’s traditional suitcases – while on the other it is a fitting symbol of security and protection. Each bracelet costs €250 – and €100 of that are donated to Unicef.
The bracelets are available online from 14th September via www.louisvuitton.com/lvforunicef and will be sold in over 200 Louis Vuitton stores worldwide from 15th September.
