Innovative, inventive, poetic and elegant – these are some of the adjectives being used to describe the first Les Petits Nomades collection by Louis Vuitton, which was presented at the furniture fair in Milan. These decorative objects for your home were created by the world-famous designers Humberto & Fernando Campana, Atelier Oï, Patricia Urquiola and Marcel Wanders.
The starting point for the collection were the Objects Nomades, the limited collector’s pieces presented every year by Louis Vuitton. The small home accessories combine the longstanding company’s creative vision and their savoir faire. The spirit of Louis Vuitton condensed into an ideal little gift.
Living with leather
The collection comprises vases, flowers, mirrors, cushions and trays – and leather plays a starring role. The Tropicalist vase by Humberto & Fernando Campana consists of 176 two-tone petals made of leather. For their vase, tray and leather flowers, the Atelier Oï was inspired by origami. Marcel Wanders says of the Diamond Mirror he designed: “It clearly expresses the brand’s passion for detail.”
