The most successful fashion bloggers make Hollywood stars on Instagram look old: they are fanatical about fashion, document their passion on the internet and millions of people follow them. Their feeds attempt to influence the tastes of the fashion community. Here are five international Instagram stars we follow.

@Thassia Naves
She’s the founder of Blog Da Thassia and now ranks among the most influential women in the worldwide fashion sector. The Brazilian shares not only her fashion but also her food and fitness diary in real time. She takes us with her behind the scenes of the fashion industry, from the Fendi jet to breakfast with Jimmy Choo. To the delight of her 2.4 million followers on Instagram.

@Chiara Ferragni
The most successful fashion blogger in the world. 6.3 million followers can’t get enough of this blonde Milan-based blogger’s fashion selfies. She now has an entire team running her blog, The Blonde Salad, which she founded in 2009. After all, Ferragni also has to make time for her line of footwear and the numerous fashion shoots that see her adorning the covers of fashion magazines, as well as making appearances as brand ambassador for Amazon Fashion.

@Giovanna Battaglia
Born in Italy, Battaglia has been a model, has worked at Vogue Italia, is editor of Japanese Vogue and W Magazine. Even when she’s hiking in the Swiss mountains, the most-photographed street style icon is impeccably dressed. For her recent jet-set wedding on Capri, she wore a dream dress by Alexander McQueen, had Anna dello Russo as a bridesmaid and the world of fashion as her guest – the world’s fashion magazines were enthralled. You can find pictures of her fairy-tale wedding on her account – of course.

@Sofie Valkiers
This pretty lady from Belgium actually wanted to open a restaurant. But the trained chef and marketing manager turned her back on her cooking pots for her passion for fashion, instead founding the first Belgian fashion blog, Fashionata. On the side, she writes columns for Chinese Vogue and has recently published her first book with Lannoo, in which she charmingly shares her valuable tips and tricks for everything from the red carpet to your weekend wardrobe, as well as revealing how to keep track of the contents of your cupboards.

@Veronika Heilbrunner
The German style icon runs the German- and English-language blog Hey Woman together with Julia Knolle. International fashion journalists can have their say, too, by writing guest articles. The man at her side: creative director of Brioni, Justin O’Shea.
