All-rounder and trendsetter. That’s how the 30-year-old Italian Chiara Ferragni is often described. With The Blonde Salad she not only founded one of the most successful fashion blogs in the world, but also a very successful fashion collection of her own. When it comes to social media, big companies can certainly learn a thing or two from her. She was one of the first influencers and a digital pioneer.
And she can now add another impressive point to her résumé: she is part of the PomellatoForWomen campaign, a platform that presents women of different ages from various professions to give other women the confidence to follow their dreams.
From women for women
For their advertising campaign the Italian jewellery company hired celebrity photographer Peter Lindbergh. He captured Ferragni in black and white. “What’s refreshing about this campaign is that women are shown as they are in real life,” Lindbergh enthuses.
Pomellato was founded in 1967 during the second-wave feminist movement. A fact that is now edging ever further into the limelight. “I find it great that Pomellato is forging a community for women and dedicating it to women from such diverse walks of life. The fact that – just like me – Pomellato is 100% Italian makes it an excellent fit.”
