James Bond wore Brioni for ten years. But now men from the art world are wearing suits by the high-end tailor. And they are wearing them in the latest Brioni advertising campaign, photographed by the New York-based artist Collier Schorr, who regularly spends her summers in Germany and is famous for her photos of young men. For Brioni she chose more mature men. “Creative Minds” is the title of the campaign. The series of pictures certainly is creative and extravagant. Not least because Schorr herself put on a Brioni suit for the fifth photo in the series. These men from the creative industries are not just artists, as they were in the last autumn/winter campaign, but are smart-minded people who have a nose for talent and taste: gallery-owner Daniel Buchholz, curator and head of the Serpentine Gallery in London Hans Ulrich Obrist, British journalist and co-founder of the Frieze Art Fair in London Matthew Slotover and American artist Oscar Tuazon.
