Arriva l’aperitivo! With the newly opened Bar Campari, a helping of Italian bar culture paired with Viennese Gemütlichkeit has arrived in the Goldenes Quartier.
Drinks and snacks
Espressi, negroni and stuzzichini. Peter Friese, whose famous Viennese restaurant Das Schwarze Kameel is only a minute away, is the man behind the bar and kitchen. The best way to celebrate the Italian lifestyle is with a negroni, a Campari spritz and a Garibaldi (aka Campari orange) in one hand and delicious Italian nibbles in the other.
With the motto “Art meets Campari”, the bar’s quintessentially Italian design is the brainchild of Matteo Thun’s Milanese architecture practice. The artist Fortunato Depero served as the inspiration, while the colours red, black and white capture the dynamic and vibrant atmosphere of a typical Italian café bar.
Need inspiration and want to learn more? Then go to the first floor of the Campari Bar, home of the Campari Academy. In addition to masterclasses for bartenders and mixologists, they also hope to fill laypeople with enthusiasm for the Campari spirit.Seitzergasse 6, 1010 Vienna
