News alert! There’s a new shopping hotspot in the Goldenes Quartier: Amicis is opening a 300-square-metre store for streetwear collections, contemporary lines and a whole host of accessories.
Which is also a great excuse to introduce Vienna to some new brands. On the ground floor, there’s a unisex area with hyped T-shirts by the brands Off-White, Vetements, Heron Preston, Yeezy, Balenciaga, Amiri and Palm Angels.
On the first floor, you’ll find contemporary lines such as Isabel Marant Étoile, See by Chloé, Red Valentino, Elizabeth & James with jeans by Frame, GRLFRND Denim and Paige.
The starting pistol for the new branch was fired in late 2017. It was designed by the M.E.T.A. architects from Milan. “The aim is a clean, cool shop that doesn’t depend on the architecture but on the constantly changing collections, while at the same time offering a comfortable atmosphere,” reveals owner Arash Daie. Quickly changing trends need neutral surroundings. “We’re bringing the best aspects of the international concept stores to Vienna.”
For Amicis this is already the fourth store. Amicis runs two stores (400 square metres for men, 700 square metres for women) on Tuchlauben, and there’s an outlet on Seilerstätte.
