From doughnuts to the Goldenes Quartier

On four separate dates, the intendant, author and actor Elisabeth-Joe Harriet personally invites you on a very special literary and historical walk through the Bognergasse and Seitzergasse, Tuchlauben and Am Hof. Discover what used to be the world’s largest pub and where knights’ tournaments used to be held, as well as a real-life version of Scrooge McDuck’s Money Bin.

  • Meeting place: 10 a.m. in the hotel foyer of the Park Hyatt Vienna, Am Hof 2, 1010 Vienna
  • Welcome with a glass of sparkling wine and chocolates at the Park Hyatt Vienna
  • A Pfiff (approx. half pint of beer) with a pretzel at the Gösser Bierklinik
  • Krapfen (Austrian doughnuts).

Actor Elisabeth-Joe Harriet will tell stories and quote from the past and the present. She will be accompanied by quirky Cäcilie Krapf (played by Sylvia Reisinger), who claims to be the inventor of Viennese Krapfen. Ms Krapf will let you in on gossip and tittle-tattle from yesteryear.
